A note to those of you who are interested, the Colorado Eagles game on the 24th at 7PM will be on Altitude. I know that interferes with the All-Star game, so I'm guessing not too many of you will watch it.

Age has its privileges as Sakic named captain
Joe Sakic was named the captain of the Western Conference all-star team Thursday. "I must be the oldest guy," Sakic, 37, quipped when informed of the news.

It might be a few days, Kip. The prospects tend to be pretty busy with games on weekends, so I'm not sure when I'll get the next one.

Speaking of interviews, here's one with Kyle Cumiskey:

I swear Cumiskey is 8 years old.

And that is the definition of a short answer interview.

LOL, oh, i'm more than sure of that. :-) Plus, depending on age, they have school to addend to, also.

Yeah he looks like a little kid, that's for sure. And I was just going to comment on how short his answers were. I wonder if that's not partly due to editing. Maybe they edit the answers so they're short and succinct. Although having talked to Cumiskey in person, he is just kind of a quiet, shy guy. Who knows.

All coloradoavalanche.com interview seem to have short answers.

Apart from that Sakic one about the all-satr game. That was a decent length.

I saw him actually speak in an interview with Mike Haynes. His answers were longer, thoughtful and gramatically correct. I found him to be an impressive young man. I think some PR person is sticking one-liners in those so-called interviews.
