Avs have more points that last season, even if they lost every game from here on out the season is a success. Still, this teams needs to finish down the final stretch, make the playoffs, and get these kids as many playoff games as possible.
Forwards with playoff experience: Hejduk has almost as many playoff games as the rest of the forwards combined 109- 117. Seven forwards have had play off experiences and Tucker is #2 on the list.
-Hejduk (109 Games)
-Jones (10 games – if he’s back)
-McLeod (10)
-Stastny (9)
-Svatos (11)
-Tucker (62)
-Wolski (15)
Defense: The defense is much more experienced then the rest of the team. Foote has more playoff time that the entire defense combined (164 – 156). 5 of the 8 D-men have playoff experience, 4 have substantial time (30+ games), but how many of those will still be with the Avs come March? How will guys like Cumisky, Quincey, and Wilson handle the playoffs?
-Clark (9)
-Foote (164)
-Hannan (67)
-Liles (30)
-Salei (50)
Goalies: Goaltending is definitely going to be a question mark with Anderson having never played a playoff game and his back-up having a whole 3 games (all in relief I believe).
